9/1/04	Wed	DAVID	STACY	Kids got out of school early due to hurricane Frances. Dave called the kids at 7:30pm. Stacy came on the phone and wanted to talk. She asked if Dave could take the kids to Plant City tomorrow to make sure they are safe from hurricane Frances. He will be picking them up tomorrow at 7pm tomorrow and keeping them over the weekend and labor day.
9/2/04	Thu	STACY	DAVID no school	Thursday. Dave took off of work 2hrs early to pick up the kids from Stacy's place at 7pm as requested. He watched the status of the hurricane and traffic before leaving for Plant City. Hurricane Frances was approaching extra slowly. After packing up all valuables he was on his way at 2:30am. Takako left for KY around 12am. When Dave was packing to leave, Mirrissa suddenly said "I miss Angel and Nana..." Dave said "OK.." Then she asked to call her mom. After speaking to Mirrissa Stacy asked for Dave on the phone. Stacy sounded very panicked and asked of Mirrissa said these things to Dave. He said yes. Stacy was horrified and said that Mirrissa says this when she is really upset. Stacy wanted to know what happened. Dave said nothing and Mirrissa just says those things. Stacy was exasperated that Dave was so insensitive to Mirrissa's mood changes and contemplated if she needed to pick Mirrissa up right a way. Dave told her she was doing fine.
				Stacy returned to talking with Mirrissa. Then she asked to speak to Dave again. Stacy told Dave that Mirrissa told her that Takako had yelled at her today. Stacy was very upset that Takako did this and told Dave that Takako has no business disciplining the kids and she is not allowed to yell at Mirrissa. Stacy continued to lecture about how inappropriate Takako's actions were today. When Dave was able to get a word in edgewise, he told her that Takako was on her way to KY and she hasn't been around Mirrissa today. Stacy let out a little scream and said "I've had enough of this!!" and demanded to speak to Mirrissa again.
9/3/04	Fri	STACY, DAVID AT 6PM	DAVID, no school	Friday. Dave and kids woke up late from their very late drive last night. After eating a meal they went to Wal-Mart for groceries
9/4/04	Sat	DAVID	DAVID	Saturday. Most of the day was spent preparing for the hurricane. It rained all day the kids watched cartoons and movies. Dolly called and told them about the tornado warning around the same time Takako sent a text message to Dave. They still had electric and internet so were doing good. We made Peanut butter cookies and Brownies. Carrey is spending the night again. Her mom brought over some of their movies. We have been watching "Finding Nemo"
9/5/04	Sun	DAVID, STACY AT 6PM	DAVID	Sunday. Kids played inside due to hurricane. Cable was down but they still had electricity.
9/6/04	Mon	STACY	DAVID no school	Mon Stacy called to suggest Dave and the kids to stay in Plant City another night. Mirrissa called Takako at night and told her that John's (Stacy's neighbor) roof to his warehouse flew off and a tree fell on the neighbor's car. Mirrissa also said Takako's neighbor's house was flooding. When Takako mentioned that there may be no school this week, Mirrissa said she was going to call her mom and said good bye. Kids played with Carey until her mom came to pick her up. They also went to the store to pick up some milk and saw lots of police cars. Kids slept on the bed and Dave slept on the couch.
9/7/04	Tue	STACY	DAVID no school	Stacy called and said she wanted the kids back. Dave was able to convince her that it would be better if the kids stayed in Plant City because she doesn't have electricity. Stacy thought she might be without electricity for another couple of weeks. Mirrissa wanted to go to her mom's place right away but Dave and Zach convinced her it was better to have electricity. Stacy called to say good night later in the evening and said she now had electricity and she wanted the kids at her place tomorrow. Dave agreed.
9/8/04	Wed	STACY	STACY no school	Dave drove back to Daytona with the kids around 4pm. The kids were good in general. Zachary did not want to go to his mother's house. Mirrissa could not wait to get back. We arrived in Ormond Beach at 4:00pm. We unloaded the jeep and then Zachary wanted to go to the Pawn shop to look at stuff. We went and looked. They had a sword that he wanted. He said he is going to save his money to buy it. We finally went to Stacy's at 5:15pm. Stacy called me at 6:40pm and asked if she could come get the kids Medical card because "Mirrissa" lost the one I gave her. She was going to take Mirrissa to the doctors office to have her vagina looked at. Stacy said that it was red and swollen and smelled bad. Stacy thought Mirrissa might have a yeast infection.
				Stacy, Debra (Co-worker) and Melody (Co-worker) showed up here about 7:30pm and picked up the card and dropped off Zachary. Zachary caught a lizard for his snake to eat and we unpacked some of the stuff we packed away from the Hurricane. Stacy called me at 8:55pm to tell me that she was on her way to pick up Zachary and that she will be here in about 10 minutes. I asked Stacy what the verdict was and Stacy said that the doctors were a bunch of morons because the doctor said that nothing was wrong with Mirrissa. Stacy said she is going to take Mirrissa to a Pediatrician tomorrow. I told Stacy that Mirrissa may just have a rash from having her swim suit on yesterday. Stacy just said that Mirrissa would not get that swollen and stinky from her swim suit. Stacy arrived at 9:20pm to pick up Zachary and they left.
9/9/04	Thu	STACY	no school	Dave spoke to Stacy and asked what the pediatrician said. She said she has company so she doesn't want to talk to Dave. Dave asked to speak to Mirrissa. She did not want to talk but Dave could hear Stacy and Melody coaxing her "its not nice to not want to talk to your dad, you should talk to your dad" in the background. Mirrissa came on the phone briefly. Dave asked if she felt better and went to the doctor. Mirrissa said she did not go to the doctor and said good night. Jane Devine called to reschedule appointment. Next week Stacy will bring the kids and a new appointment was made for the following week for Dave to bring the kids. She also asked Dave to call her to discuss some of the issues he wanted brought up.
9/10/04	Fri	STACY	no school	Friday. Dave went to Takako's house. Stacy said she is thinking of taking Mirrissa to a pediatrician next week.
9/11/04	Sat	STACY		Saturday Dave called the kids at 8:30pm they were on their way to Stacy's friend's house. Mirrissa came on the phone and said she didn’t want to talk now. She also said Zach didn’t want to talk and he will talk to you later and hung up before Dave could say anything.
9/12/04	Sun	STACY		Sunday. Dave tried calling the kids but nobody answered
9/13/04	Mon	STACY	no school	Takako found out that Ruth who is Dave's landlord's wife had spoken to Stacy at Karate for Kids some time ago. Ruth asked Stacy why the little girl (Mirrissa) couldn't go to gymnastics. Stacy replied that she misses them too much and the kids need to be with her not at gymnastics.
9/14/04	Tue	STACY	School Resumes	Appointment with Mr. Rice, Stacy takes kids to JD. Takako and Dave went out to eat Chinese with Rob. Dave was at dinner when Mirrissa called. Mirrissa called Dave at 8:30pm. Dave asked her what she was doing and she said nothing. Mirrissa said she really didn't want to talk to Daddy but Mommy told her she had to call him. Then she handed the phone over to Zach. Zach was chatty as usual and told Dave about his day. Dave asked him how going back to school was and he said it was "awesome!" when asked what was awesome about it, he said he didn't remember but he remembered that he stepped on his toe with the chair in art class and it hurt. He also mentioned excitedly how a friend took him fishing this weekend and they almost caught a big fish. He was also hoping that mommy will let him keep a kitten when the neighbor cat gives birth. Then Stacy interrupted saying that he was making stories up and it was time for him to get off the phone. Dave said goodbye.
				At 9:35pm, Zach called saying that he got an infection from wearing Takako's earring instead of his own. Dave asked if it hurt a lot and Zach said yes because mommy had to squeeze it to get all the pus out. He said he will never ever wear Takako's earring again. Dave told him you don't get infections from other peoples earrings but he wasn't convinced. Stacy came on the phone and lectured Dave on how she always knew this was going to happen because she has 5 holes in her ear and she knows better but no, Dave thinks that she is stupid and won't listen to her and now Zach has to suffer through this because Dave ignored her warning and let Zach wear Takako's earring. Dave told her that you can't get an infection that way and moreover, the earring was sterilized before putting it in Zach's year. Stacy went on to say how swollen it was and how much pus came out of it and how Zach was suffering. Dave asked if she was going to take him to the doctor and she said no, she already put medicine on. Dave said well, if you aren't taking him to the doctor, it must not be that bad.
				Stacy continued on how Dave always thinks that she is stupid and don't know things but how she does really know things and that's why Zach needs to keep wearing his own earring. Dave again told her that infections don't occur that way nor does it happen that slowly. He told her that Zach hadn't worn anybody else’s earring except his own recently as far as he knew. Stacy said No that's not true you made him wear Takako's earring whole 6 days while he was with you. Dave corrected her that he was wearing his own for all those days. Stacy said "so you are telling me that it is Zach that's lying not you!" then in the back ground Zach said "I never said that! I said that I wore Takako's earring that day when I forgot to take it off when daddy dropped me off!" Stacy still continued to say that his ear got infected. Dave reminded her that it was 3 weeks ago and no infection would have waited that long. Stacy grunted and passed the phone to Zach without saying anything else.
				Zach was still convinced that Takako's earring gave him an infection. Dave explained that it some times happens when you wear cheap earrings. Zach cheered up and started to talk about the new Scooby Doo movie that was coming out. Then Dave heard Stacy in the back ground yelling at him to get off the phone. Zach said good bye but didn't want to hang up and repeated 'I love you' several times then finally hung up. Dave called Stacy back and left a message to return the insurance card and the name of the doctor she took Mirrissa last week. Stacy called back and said she will return it when he picks up the kids on Friday. The clinic was the urgent care in port orange. Dave asked if she was aware of her deposition on Thursday. She said it was none of his business because it was between her and her attorney.
				Dave has short day. His boss Tony has requested that he return to a normal work day schedule starting next week. He will have a long day tomorrow so that he can take off on Thursday for Stacy's deposition. On the way home from Mr. Rice's office, we bought two baby mice to feed the snake. We got Rob's snake a rat and watched him eat. Rob took us out to dinner at a Chinese buffet. Rob's house still has no phone connection and he is borrowing our internet connection via cable to his apartment.
9/15/04	Wed	STACY		Dave and Takako went to meet teachers at Holly Hill elementary. Unknown to us the schools cancelled early release days so school was still in session. The receptionist disdainfully said "didn't you read the paper?" she then said she can't bother the teachers during class and teachers go home right after class if they don't have an appointment before hand. "Oh, but they do straighten the classroom out before they leave" she said. We asked if she could find out from the teachers when they get out of class and let us know when, if not today they can meet with us. Receptionist said, "today? You want to meet with them today?" we said yes, if possible, if not when ever. Then she walked over to the registrar and said, "what should I do? It's the problem on the Prather children". Then she turned to us and said, well maybe you can call us instead.
				We agreed and said we will call at 2:05. She then said 2:15 so we agreed again. We went to McDonalds and had lunch, returned to the school and called from the parking lot at exactly 2:15. Receptionist said the teachers will call Dave when they have time. We decided to walk to the class rooms to check them out. We went to Mrs. McMillan's class room and found her there. We arranged to meet with her next Tuesday. She was pleasant but seemed annoyed by out visit. We were glad to find Zach's desk in the very front. Next we walked to Mrs. Padgett's room but she had already left for the day. It was 2:20pm.
				When Dave returned from work at 8:30pm, he had a voice mail on his phone. It was Stacy saying that Mirrissa has vaginitus and she wanted him to go to Walgreen’s and pay for the prescription ($10) because she didn't have any more money after paying the co pays and stuff at the doctor's. Dave called the Walgreen’s and paid over the phone, called Stacy to let her know it was done. Stacy accused him of being late returning her call so Dave asked why she didn't call him at work. She then said that she actually wanted him to go pick it up and bring it to her because Zach was already asleep. Dave agreed to do so and went to her house. He also asked how much the co pay was so he can write her a check. She declined saying "I got it covered". She wanted to know where the child support so Dave again told her he was waiting for the court to tell him how much to pay. Stacy returned the insurance card. Dave and Takako went to Wal-Mart for groceries then went home, had steaks for dinner.
9/16/04	Thu	STACY		Dave and Takako arrived at the lawyers office at 1pm. Mr. B took Dave in to go over things. He said found the questions we emailed helpful and he will be asking some of them. He also mentioned that he will be asking about the injunction in 2003. Takako sat next to Melody who is Stacy's friend in the waiting room. Melody said she was concerned that this was a conservative office and she showed up with her midriff showing. Takako said if you are a client you can come dressed any way you want. When asked if she was here to see Mr. Rice, she shrugged. Melody was very thin with blond hair and she looked to be in her late twenties. When they were done with the deposition, Mr. B motioned for Takako to join them in the conference room. We discussed what happened and then we drove home. We were happy that Mr. B was optimistic about the case. Dave did not call the kids and they did not call him.
9/17/04	Fri	STACY, DAVID AT 6PM		Dave called ahead to say he will be 30 minutes late picking up the kids. Mirrissa came out of the house crying because her mom won't let her bring her blue dress that reminds her of nana. When she got to Dave’s house, Mirrissa told Takako that she wished she could have seen her blue dress because it was so beautiful. Mirrissa offered everybody chocolate cake from Publix happily saying that her mom let her bring it.
				Takako suggested Zach take his snake with us to her house since he hasn't been able to play with it in a long while. Zach said he didn't want to take him. Zach said he will not wear Takako's earring because he got an infection from wearing other people’s earrings. Mirrissa said her friend tried to put the friend's earring in Mirrissa’s ear with out Mirrissa's permission and Mirrissa told her no! Mirrissa said this proudly and wanted to be praised. We packed up and left. We stopped by Stacy's house to pick up Mirrissa's medicine. Mirrissa wanted to ride with Takako and Zach rode with Dave. Zach was extremely talkative and talked all the way to Plant City. We decided to go to the drive in theater to watch Resident Evil 2. We had dinner at Sonic burger place. And stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up some things. At the theater, Zach wanted to sit in the front and took the drivers seat. Mirrissa also wanted to sit in the front and climbed on to Takako's lap. Halfway through the movie, she decided to move to the back seat to sit with her dad. She made a little fuss talking about the movie, telling everyone she is going to sleep, telling Dave she loves him and giving kisses. Zach wanted to provide a digest of the movie's progression.
9/18/04	Sat	DAVID		Dave made animal shaped pancakes for everyone. Carey came over around noon. Around 3pm, we went to get Dave’s hair cut and Mirrissa's hair trimmed. Her bangs were hanging far down below in to her eyes. Zach, Carey and Takako went to the dollar store next-door to wait. The kids got to purchase one item each. Then we went to the bowling alley and played couple of games. Dave won the first game and Carey was runner up. Zach won the second game with 3 strikes. When we were getting in the car to go home, Zach had his hand on the car door while Mirrissa also had her hand on it. Mirrissa told Zach to let go and Zach told her not to pull on it while daddy unlocks it. Mirrissa reached and started to bite Zach's arm. Takako said what are you doing? Mirrissa immediately let go and apologized. Zach calmly said to wait for daddy to unlock it.
9/19/04	Sun	DAVID, STACY AT 6PM		Kids got up late. We had eggs and left over pancakes. Kids wanted to go fishing or bowling. Mirrissa said that she wanted to go to Laurel and Mike's to go swimming. Zach reminded her that mommy told her she is not allowed to put on her swimming suit because of her "rash". Mirrissa said no, she can still go swimming in her clothes. Zach said no, she can't go swimming either because she will start to itch there again. Mirrissa said it doesn't really itch so it is ok. Dave just told them "no swimming today." Dave left early so they could go bowling. They played to games and then went back to Stacy as scheduled.
9/20/04	Mon	STACY	STACY	Stacy called and told Dave that Michelle's day care is closed for a couple of days due to her husband going away to Iraq. Stacy asked if she could drop the kids off at Dave’s house in the morning and Dave consented. Zach spoke to Dave but Mirrissa was already asleep. Zach was excited to see Dave tomorrow and asked if daddy was going to come pick them up from school. Dave said no, mommy will pick them up. Zach was disappointed and said he wished daddy was picking them up because mommy is always late. Dave suggested that he play on the playground and it won't be so bad but Zach said they were not allowed to play on the playground after school because it wasn't safe. Dave asked if it was a bad neighborhood and Zach said they always had to be with a teacher when waiting.
9/21/04	Tue	STACY	STACY	Stacy overslept and didn't drop the kids off. Dave went to his appointment with the teachers at Holly Hill. Mrs. Padgett's classroom was locked and she was nowhere to be found. Dave got to speak with Mrs. McMillan. Zach was doing well with all his homework done and was being very helpful in class. He had several time outs for not paying attention but there were no problems with playing with other students.
9/22/04	Wed	STACY	STACY	Kids were dropped off in the morning. Dave picked them up from school and took them to their appointment with Jane Devine. After the appointment, Dave dropped them off at Stacy's. No calls
9/23/04	Thu	STACY	STACY	No calls.
9/24/04	Fri	STACY	STACY	Mirrissa called Dave at8:30am. She wanted him to bring over her shoes that had heels so she can participate in fun Friday. She begged and pleaded so finally Dave agreed. When he got to school, Mirrissa was in the front office waiting for Dave. She was very happy and gave Dave a big hug. Later that afternoon. Stacy called Dave and said "why did you take Mirrissa's flip flops away!" She didn't need different shoes for fun Friday! In the back ground Mirrissa was yelling, "I did need shoes with heels for fun Friday!!!!" Stacy continued on to say how those Barbie shoes were too small for Mirrissa and how her heels hang out over the shoes and she has no business wearing them. Dave said well, Mirrissa called me and asked for them so I took them. Stacy repeated that Mirrissa doesn’t need special shoes for Fun Friday. Dave said that "well, it seems that Mirrissa thinks she does, why didn't you dress her with the right shoes in the first place?"
				Stacy said that she didn't understand why the school didn't call HER since she is supposed to be called if there is anything that needs to be done for the kids. Dave told her he didn't know why he was called. Stacy was every angry that Dave had been called and forced Mirrissa to wear her Barbie shoes instead of the flip flops from Wal-Mart that she bought for Mirrissa. Then Stacy said that she would like Dave to watch the kids tomorrow while she worked. Dave agreed. Stacy said that she WILL be coming to pick them up after work and kept emphasizing that she was going to come pick them up. Dave said OK. Dave called the kids back later in the evening from Blockbusters and asked which movie they wanted to watch. Kids wanted to watch Scooby Do2 so Dave rented it. At 9:30pm, Mirrissa called Dave asking if she could go to a party on Saturday because she needs to answer to her friend tonight. Dave said OK, and Mirrissa was happy. In the background, Stacy was yelling "Talk to your Dad!!" Dave asked why she was calling so late. Mirrissa said that was all she wanted to ask and said goodbye.
9/25/04	Sat	STACY	DAVE watched the kids while Stacy worked	Kids were dropped off sometime after 6am. Dave left the front door unlocked but the kids couldn't get the door open. After being let in, Zach and Mirrissa argued about whose turn it was to go and wave mommy goodbye to show they got in. Zach said it was Mirrissa's turn but Mirrissa said she didn't want to, Zach said he didn't want to either. Eventually Mirrissa agreed to go wave to her. Kids watched Scooby Doo2 and another movie while Dave and Takako slept. Around 9:30 we got up and got ready to go out. We went to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and had doughnuts and coffee. Kids got chocolate milk. We checked out a game store in the same strip mall. Dave had to go by work to fix some things so Takako and the kids hung out outside trying to catch frogs. Shortly Dave was done and we came home. Zach made us all icees and as we were eating them, Dolly called. Kids wanted to go fishing so they went downstairs and the adults watched from the balcony as they talked to Dolly. Dolly is planning to come visit around thanks giving in their new RV. We took Zach snake out and played with him for a while. Zach did not seem all that interested in his snake anymore.
				Around 2:45pm, Stacy called saying she will go drive a coworker home then come pick up the kids. We watched Scooby Doo movie again while we waited. At 3:30pm Stacy showed up. As Mirrissa greeted Stacy, Stacy reminded her to bring her doll house. Mirrissa was packing the doll house and all of the accessories earlier in the morning. They seemed to have a plan to take the doll house with them. Mirrissa ran back to her room and picked up her doll house and her toy chest and said mommy promised her to play house with her. Dave said well why don't you take just the doll house and the things that go inside it but Mirrissa said no she needs to take all of her toy chest with her for the doll house to work. Dave suspects that Stacy needs money and wants to sell the doll house. Earlier that morning while Dave was sleeping, Takako walked into Mirrissa's room and she was packing up her doll house. Not knowing what Mirrissa was doing, Takako asked her what she was doing. Mirrissa looked up and said "nothing".
				Mirrissa showed up in her pj's with no shoes. Zach wore a YuGiOh shirt that is way too tight and with bleach stains. This was combined with shorts that were missing the button on his waist. Takako asked Zach if the missing button was a fashion thing. Zach said no, but Mommy told him to wear it today. Dave made them change into regular clothes. Mirrissa was amazed that she had grown into her sandals and the jeans that Dave had purchased her some time back. She combed her hair, brushed and flossed her teeth, and put on a little eye shadow and looked very tidy. At 6pm or so, Dave called Stacy to ask if she would like the kids to evacuate with him to Plant City. Stacy said that no she didn't need him because they were going to evacuate to John's house for the evening. After the call, Dave decided he was going to stay in Daytona for hurricane Jeanne to be closer to the kids if anything should happen.
9/26/04	Sun	STACY		There were strong winds but little rain in Daytona as Jeanne made landfall. Takako and Dave spent the day at his place monitoring the storm and talking to his family and relatives that called to find out how we were weathering the storm. At 7:15pm, Mirrissa called Dave. She merrily asked how Dave was doing, how Sasha was doing. Dave said they were doing fine. Mirrissa asked if the hurricane hit him. Dave said a hurricane isn't a physical thing that "hits" anyone. Mirrissa laughed and asked if he and Takako were all flooded and under water. Mirrissa broke out in a fit of laughter and Dave could hear Stacy laughing with her in the background. Mirrissa giggled that 'they are flooded'. Dave thought Stacy was tickling Mirrissa while she talks on the phone again.
				While Dave waited for Mirrissa to stop giggling, Zach came on the phone. Dave asked if Mirrissa was getting tickled and Zach replied that no, but his mom and Mirrissa was laughing because hurricane hit daddy's at Takako’s house and they were all flooded. Zach asked if Dave was all flooded in Plant city. Dave told him that no, he wasn't flooded and he was not in Plant City. Zach hollered over to his mom saying "They are alright! They aren't in Plant City!" There was another round of laughter and Stacy saying "Darn, that’s just too bad" and more giggling. Dave was very annoyed and told Zach to call back when they were done laughing. Immediately after, there were three phone calls in a row and Mirrissa and left a voice mail to the effect that she was sorry for laughing, Dave heard laughter in her voice and felt that she was faking her apology again.
				Dave called back and Zach came on the phone and said "I am sorry" Dave told him he was disappointed that they were laughing at other peoples misfortune. Zach asked if daddy and Takako were ok. And said his favorite tree at his moms place was bent from the storm. Zach asked what they were doing and Dave told him that we were eating steak and potato salad for dinner. Zach said "oh I want to eat too" and then turned to his mom and asked if he could go to daddy's for dinner" Dave just asked him what he was having for dinner. Zach didn't answer. Dave asked were he got the idea that Plant City flooded and whether he saw it on the news. Zach said he didn't know, then passed the phone to Mirrissa saying that Mirrissa "needed" to talk to him. Mirrissa came on the phone and said "I'm sorry". Dave told her he was disappointed in her and that he wanted to know why she was laughing at other people's misfortune. Mirrissa said she didn't know where she got the idea Plant City was flooded. Then she said "well, here, talk to mommy" Dave didn't want to talk to Stacy and hung up.
9/27/04	Mon	STACY	no school due to hurricane	No call
9/28/04	Tue	STACY		Appointment with therapist Carol. Dave called in so that he could also participate. Discussions on how to parent in a way that minimizes the negative impact of Stacy on the children. No call
9/29/04	Wed	STACY		No call
9/30/04	Thu	STACY		Mirrissa called asking why Dave didn't call. She said she was excited about the weekend and looking forward to attending the birthday party. In the back ground, Stacy yelled that Mirrissa was not going to the birthday party. Mirrissa started crying and hung up the phone. Dave called back. Mirrissa said that mommy will talk to him about the birthday party. Mirrissa said that she wore a shirt to school that mommy said was ok but it really wasn't and got in trouble. When Dave spoke to Zach, he made a comment about how Stacy was trying to "control" everyone. Dave spoke to Stacy and found out that Mirrissa called the birthday girls house at 5am on Sunday and then "mouthed off about how she can do what ever because it was daddy's weekend". This was why Stacy decided to punish her by not letting her go to the birthday party.
