STACY, DAVID AT 6PM

Dave tried to get the party information from Stacy but she refused. Stacy said that she went to the school's open house and found out from Mirrissa's teacher that she was not paying attention in class. Stacy thought she should be getting a tutor for Mirrissa and now Mirrissa is receiving tutoring from the assistant. Dave  asked if she needed money for the tutor but Stacy said it was free. Stacy said that the problems Mirrissa is having following instructions is because Dave fails to follow through on the punishments she imposes on her and that is why she is not going to go to the birthday party.

Mirrissa went to the birthday party. It was at the Trails (Nova community park). Mirrissa did not participate in the party, Mirrissa acted as though she was guilty for being there. She did wish the birthday boy a happy birthday. David and the kids played in the park for about an hour then left.

Stacy called Dave asking if he could watch the kids on Friday night because she is going out. She also said that Zach is enrolling in Boy Scouts and asked if Dave could take him to his meeting on Friday. Dave said yes, and to send him the information. Stacy said no, she is going to get him all signed up. Dave said fine, to tell him where to go. Stacy said she will come pick the kids up Saturday morning around 9 or 10am. Dave didn't know Zach wanted to join Boy Scouts and didn't think he was interested in it but he didn't say anything. Stacy also accused Dave for not caring about the kids since he has stopped calling them. Stacy related to Dave how the kids were waiting by the phone "all night" waiting for their daddy to call but Dave never did. Dave said that the kids can call him any time.

Stacy called and told Dave about how unhappy she was that the kids came back in the clothes they wore over to Dave's last visit. She said the clothes were so badly stained that she had to spend hours trying to get the ketchup and things out. Stacy said that she was going to make sure it didn't happen again by telling Ms. Devine on their appointment. Dave told her that he didn't know of any stains because the kids took off their clothes when they walked in and didn't put them back on until it was time for them to leave.

STACY

no call. Dave asked Takako to go to the PTA meeting because he was slammed with work. Takako was able to give the principal the papers for Mrs. Padgett. Takako found out through the principal that there was no tutoring going on in the school because she was the tutoring coordinator and she hadn't gotten it started for the year due to hurricanes. Dave thinks this is another one of Stacy's temporary lies because he had not hear anything about the tutor since the two weeks ago. Had Stacy actually taken Mirrissa, Dave thinks that Stacy would have bragged about it more on a daily bases. Dave has also not heard back about the Boy Scouts for Zach from either Stacy nor Zach.

When asked about it Stacy said that Mirrissa suffers from Insomnia.  After the meeting with Ms Devine David calls Stacy to ask for more time with the kids. Stacy said the kids had be home by 5:00pm so the kids could do their homework, eat dinner and go to bed. David takes the kids to the pet store to get something for Exodia to eat. Zachary goes in the store comes back out with a medium size rat. We all think the rat is to big but decide to take the rat home anyway. Zachary feeds the rat to Exodia but discovers that the rat is too big to be eaten by Exodia and removes the rat.

David At 10pm.

Stacy called David at approximatly 9:00pm and ask if David could watch the kids on Saturday for a few hours. David told Stacy that he already made plans to go to Plant City this weekend and would not be able to do it unless Stacy could bring the kids over tonight and return them on Sunday. Surprisingly,  Stacy agreed and the Kids were delivered to David by 10:00pm. David has Mirrissa wait in the bedroom and David informs Zachary of the status of Exodia. Zachary cried for about 10 minutes. David explains that it was Dave's fault for putting the rat back in the cage. Zachary wanted to kill the rat to get even for "Exodia". David explained that it was not the rats fault he was just defending himself. The explanation did not seem to change the way Zachary felt. David told Zach that we will feed the rat to Rob's snake. David and the kids played cards until 11:30pm then the kids went to go to bed. Zach told Dave that mommy has a date on Saturday and that is why she needs him to watch the kids.

David.

David and the kids went to Plant city and the kids were informed that Takako will be moving. When we told them Takako is moving in with David, the kids jumped up and say "oh really!. The kids seem happy about the move and asked many questions. The kids, David, and Takako bury "Exodia" in Takako's back yard. We all held hands and had a moment of silence for the dead snake. Zachary said he wants another pet, maybe a rat snake. Takako tells him we should probably mourn Mr. X first. The kids played with Carrie for about an hour before Carrie went to spend the night with another friend. Everyone went to the Drive-in theater that night and watched "The Grudge" and part of "The Forgotten". During "The Grudge" the kids were restless and were warned to stop talking and interrupting the movie. The kids seemed bored. After the first movie the kids were told that they were on their last chance. Mirrissa could not sit still during the second movie so we went home.

STACY

David to Stacy at 6:30pm

The kids helped pack, somewhat, since Carrie was not home to play. Stacy called about 12:30pm and told David that she wanted the kids home at 5:00pm because she was cooking them dinner and she wanted Mirrissa to finish her homework. David told Stacy that he would try to get the kids back by that time but did not know if it would happen. Stacy talked to both kids briefly. Both kids told her that they were watching TV and did a lot of listening to something Stacy was saying to them. David called Stacy at 4:45 to let her know that the kids would not be home by 5:00pm. Stacy yelled over the phone that she has already made part of their dinner and she warned David IN PLENTY of time that she wanted them home by 5pm. Stacy hung up on David. Kids were hungry so Dave called back and asked if he could feed the kids. Stacy continued to yell and didn't hear Dave's question. Dave had to raise his voice and ask the question numerous times before she finally heard and answered no. The kids were returned at approx. 6:30pm. Stacy gave David a dirty look David while the kids were walking up to the door.

Zach was anxious all day about being "late" going back to his moms house. He was  bringing up excuses for why we were late. Zach rode with Takako on the way back and told her  that he had had a good weekend and he was happy that Daddy will get the kids three weekends in a row.  Dolly called Dave asking him to look up RV park in Daytona for when they visit in Nov. Kids were excited to hear grandma was coming over and wanted to know about the RV.

Takako gave the kids some earrings in the shape of reptiles. The kids took them to Stacie's. The kids thanked Takako profusely for the earrings.

Ms Padgett,

My name is David Prather and I am Mirrissa Prather’s father. Her mother Stacy Erickson and I are separated and we are going through a difficult custody battle. Because of this I have been unable to obtain any information regarding Mirrissa’s progress in 2nd grade. I understand that Mirrissa has some serious problems paying attention in class and trouble interacting with friends. Thanks to you, Stacy has told me, that Mirrissa is receiving daily tutoring from your assistant. I understand that this is free of charge but I wanted to make you aware that I will be able to pay for any incurred costs for this tutoring. I would like to be kept up to date on Mirrissa’s progress and I was hoping we could keep in close contact. I am available through email as well as in person visits or whatever you prefer. I understand last week was report card week. I would like to get a copy of this as well any homework or tests completed by Mirrissa. I would be interested in any suggestions you have about how to improve Mirrissa’s academic and interpersonal skills.

I look forward to hearing from you.

 Thanks,

David Prather

Mr. Prather,

Report cards go home today ,and I sent a copy to you in the mail yesterday. So, hopefully you will receive it today or tomorrow. I will send copies and results of important academic results. It is likely that  Mirrissa will have personal and interpersonal problems as a result of divorce. Your reassurance to her and modeling sound interpersonal skills yourself is vital to her self

esteem and emotional stability. We are providing all the positive academic and emotional support we can here. She seems very content and secure in this school environment.

STACY, DAVID AT 6PM

David called Stacy at 5:15pm to let her know that he was going to have to work late. Stacy offered to bring the kids to David's at 7:00pm. They agreed. At 7:05 Stacy dropped the kids off. David was standing outside on the balcony when Stacy asked him to come down so they could talk. David declined and told Stacy they could talk on the phone later. Stacy started yelling and told David to come down so they could talk. David went down to talk to Stacy. Stacy informed David that she had cooked dinner for 2 hours and the kids turned their nose up to it. Stacy said that Zachary told her that "I am not going to eat this crap. I am going to wait to eat until I get to Daddy's". Stacy asked David to apply the rules that if the kids don't eat dinner then they go without for the rest of the night. Stacy then proceeded to tell David that the junk food he is feeding them is making the kids fat and Zachary already weighs 95 pounds. David replied that sounds like a health 10 year old boy and it seems to me that what he needs is more exercise. Stacy again said to stop feeding the kids junk because it is making them fat. When returning upstairs Zachary told David that he weighs 90 pounds.

Zachary told David that Mommy wants all his Hot Wheels brought home. David called Stacy, on speaker phone, to ask if this was true and Stacy said they are his cars and she did not care what he did with them. Zachary did not reply just shook his head. David made it clear with everyone that the kids belongings are the kids belongings and the kids are responsible for them. Mirrissa told David that Mommy is giving her Nyquil so she can sleep. David told Mirrissa that Mommy should not be giving Mirrissa anything to help her sleep except to shut off the TV and go to bed.

I wanted to thank you for mailing me Mirrissa’s report card. You are absolutely right about Mirrissa and I think we are on the same page. One additional thing is I would like the name of the tutor Mirrissa is seeing especially be cause I know that Mirrissa is not easy to tutor and I would like to thank her for her time. Stacy has told me that Mirrissa is making good progress with her tutor and I wanted to thank her for her time.

Thank you, I look forward to seeing Zachary's report card this weekend. Please let me know if there are any behavior concerns. He has recently lost his pet snake and I am concerned that he may be more moody than usual. His mom said he is now enrolled in boy scouts at the school so I hope that will become a new interest for him. I will be in touch. Please do not hesitate to contact me about any concerns you may have.

DAVID

David and the kids drove to Plant city to help Takako move the last of her stuff to Ormond Beach. Zachary and Mirrissa played with Carrie while David and Takako went to a meeting. Intermittently, during the day Zachary would ask about his new pet. Mirrissa had to be told several times to stop ordering her friends around. Mirrissa and Carrie acted like it was the last time they would ever see each other. Carrie gave Mirrissa some fake money so she could remember her. Carrie's mother assured the kids that if they wanted they could come by some weekend and spend the night. On the return trip Zachary told David about all the different types of pets he was thinking of getting.

Mirrissa commented several times that "It looks like Daddy and Takako are married." David and Takako did not know what to make of that. We arrived back in Ormond Beach around 8:30 and went to Blockbuster where we rented "Eight Crazy Nights". It was about 9:00pm when they arrived home. The kids watched the movie while David made dinner. The kids acted as if they were starved. About 11:30 the kids went to bed. They complained that they did not want the day to end but did brush their teeth and went to bed.

Sun

DAVID, STACY AT 6PM

Everyone got up around 9:00am and decided to go to Crispy Kreme for doughnuts. Mirrissa memorized 7 * 7 and decided that she was going to have 49 doughnuts. Mirrissa also brushed Takako's Hair. At the doughnut shop Mirrissa received 3 free doughnuts. Everyone decided to go to the mall so see if they were giving out free candy. Takako asked the kids if they wanted to make their costumes. the kids replied "No, we want to buy them at Wal-Mart" David said "No, you need to put some heart into them not just buy them."  At the mall, Zachary expressed particular interest in a set of bracelets so he could be like everyone else. It turns out that Zachary knows the names of the shops at the mall so it seems that Stacy and the kids have spent considerable time there.

Zachary knew where all the stores were and rushed to go to his favorite store. The bracelets as it turns out were for adult themes. David has become more concerned about all the adult themes and rapper like language Zachary is using. Zachary knew where all the stores were and rushed to go to his favorite store. The bracelets as it turns out were for adult themes. David has become more concerned about all the adult themes and rapper like language Zachary is using. Mirrissa wanted to hold Takako's hand almost the entire time at the mall.

After shopping everyone was hungry so we went home. On the way home from the mall Zachary said that his ears hurt. When we arrived home David took Zachary in to the bathroom and applied some Neosporin to his ear. David told Zachary that he need to where silver or gold earring and not the cheap lead earrings. Zachary did not reply. The rest of the afternoon was spent playing ball, games and movies. The kids took a shower before David returned kids to Stacy at 5:55pm.  Mirrissa made a big show to Takako about how she was not going to have any fun tonight trick or treating because Takako would not be there. Takako assured Mirrissa that she would have fun with her mother.

Stacy asked David why the kids did not have costumes on. David replied that the kids did not want to make any costumes for Halloween. Stacy told David "Your too cheap to go get the kids costumes." to which David replied as before. As the kids were getting out of the Jeep Stacy looked over the kids at David and said "your pathetic". The kids finished getting out and went into the house. David drove home.

In contrary to what Stacy said before the neighbors (Tracy, Kyle and Courtney) had never attended Holly hill (in private school) despite Stacy's claim that all the neighbors went to Holly hill and that is where their friends are.
