Weekend 081906

We have no pictures from this weekend because Takako took the camera to Kentucky.

On Thursday Stacy called to say she doesn’t want to drive all the way to Daytona on Friday but that she will be in Lakeland on Saturday and I can pick up the kids there. On Saturday Zach called say they are in Lakeland but that he would like to spend some time playing with Pat’s boys so if I could come pick him up in a little while. Stacy calls back immediately to say that the boys are there just to give Zach some clothes and they have places to go so Zach can’t play with them and I should come pick him up right away. When I get to Lakeland around 1pm. Stacy and Pat were chatting on the porch. They called for Zach and he came running out and climbed into the car. Stacy said that Mirrissa does not want to go with him today because she received birthday money from grandparents and they made plans to go to the mall to spend it. “Mirrissa is dead set to not go with you this weekend” “You know it was all her idea and I didn’t put it in her head” “It really was her idea, she just doesn’t want to go”. I said OK, and got in the car.

After we got back to the house, we played computer games. Takako was away in KY with the lap top so we logged in on the home computer through different accounts to play and share things on the game. Carey came over but Zach was focused on the game and didn’t pay her any attention. I played sword fighting with Carey for a while and then she went home. We spent rest of the night and Sunday playing games and watching movies and hanging out. Hearing what all we did this weekend was play computer games and eat pizza rolls, Takako was horrified. Even so, we had a nice quiet good time. When Sunday came both Zach and I thought time went by too fast and wished we had more time together.
