Rob Cote's Statement for Trial

Rob was our neighbor in Ormond Beach. Since moving in next to us the summer before, we had spent some time together. The kids played with Rob's nephews and his mom had taken them out to do things together on numerous occasions. We babysat for Rob's girlfriends little boy too on occasion. Kids used to have a great time running from one duplex to another and spending time climbing trees and fishing in the river below. Rob, his mother and I would sit in the lounge chairs on the balcony and keep an eye on them. As a natural course of things, Rob and his mom had a chance to meet Stacy and observe her comings and goings on numerous occasions. In preparation for trial, Rob prepared a statement to be presented at trial for the kids.

At trial, the judge waved it away saying he was "not interested in the details".
