Mirrissa goes to the Zoo February 19^th 2005

Mirrissa was invited to go to the zoo with her church group. Mirrissa and her step sister and couple of other little girls met at the church. It was my weekend with the kids so I dropped her off in the morning and went to pick her up afterwards in Palm Coast. Allen and Stacy were there also to pick up Allen’s daughter. As the kids climbed off the bus the field trip leader gave each child a goodbye hug. Mirrissa raised her arms for a hug but the lady turned away. I could tell by the way she was avoiding eye contact with Mirrissa that she had had enough of Mirrissa for one day. As Allen’s daughter climbed out the lady gave her a hug. Mirrissa was anxious to get the photos she took on the disposable camera so we went to Wal-Mart. Mirrissa was happy to get a little album to put her pictures and proudly showed me her pictures of all the reptiles and animals she took.
