Trial Docket Sounding.

This is basically a quick meeting with the Judge and the opposing party to decide whether we will be going ahead with trial as scheduled on the docket or not.  At this meeting I requested a continuance explaining that my attorney had not notified me of the trial scheduling and that only after I had dismissed him and retrieved my files did I find out about the impending trial date. I also brought up the fact that there are still many motions already put forth for the other party to respond that had not yet been responded to.  Judge Frank Marriott didn't really care if I was ready or not and didn't really think a social investigation nor interrogatories were necessary for this case. Since opposing counsel Mr.  Fox said they were ready, he denied my request for continuance.

(I skipped over a couple pages that were just a continuation of the list of names.)
