Child Support Calculations - April 2004

Our lawyer told us that we should stop paying Stacy the inordinate amount of money per month because it may be used as "precedent" in the future. I calculated the child support requirements as shown below based on current incomes of the parents. $569.48 was my final monthly obligation to Stacy. From that I subtracted the car payment and auto insurance that I paid for Stacy that month.

As expected Stacy had a huge fit about how I had no right to fill in the line 8 and how this was all wrong. I told her that I might have made a mistake so she should fix it and send it back to me. Stacy of course never did.
